Godly Play®

Godly Play® is the result of a lifetime of research and practice by theologian, author, and educator The Reverend Dr. Jerome Berryman.

The Godly Play® method is a spiritual practice exploring the mystery of God’s presence in our lives through wondering and play. The process aims to provide spiritual guidance and build religious language that can later be used in the development of a deep personal connection with God and community.

Used in all 50 states and in at least 15 different countries, Godly Play® is a spiral curriculum that builds our children’s faith from “Hear It” (ages 3-6), Speak It (ages 6-9), and Think It (ages 9-12). (This program is also finding success with adults in hospitals and care facilities.)

Please join us on Sundays at 9:30am during the entire school year in person or VIA ZOOM!

Another Year

The children of Godly Play® finished another year of stories with the Story of Pentecost, always a favorite! (If you ever need sound effects for the wind entering a scene, we have the crew for you!) After our story, we planted all of the beautiful RED geraniums, so generously donated by the congregation, in the Memorial Garden! These wonderful gardeners left their mark and the flowers look beautiful. To complete our celebration, we enjoyed POPSICLES for our delayed snack after the church service. Thanks to all for your encouragement and your generous donations to the Globe Fund. The children love joining the service and sharing your kindness with those in need! We’ll still all be around through the summer, ringing the bell during the Lord’s Prayer, and collecting for the Globe Function. We’ll continue to enjoy our “Kid’s Corners” and the activities in the Library, so please continue to be patient with us as we continue to develop our FAITH! Happy Summer to all!

Each week, the children will enter their beautiful and structured sacred space where they will participate in the following:
